TV CentreUK property development company Stanhope and the BBC have unveiled their plans for the redevelopment of BBC Television Centre in West London. The world’s first purpose-built television production building will be redeveloped to include around 1,000 apartments and townhouses, including some in the current central “doughnut” offices. There will also be an hotel, offices and retail units. 130,000 square feet of studio space will remain in the hands of BBC Studios and Post Production.

Full details of the redevelopment plans – which have not yet been approved by the local council – are at television-centre.com.
