VTVcab begins advanced live productions with a complete media workflow from Vizrt

Vietnamese media company will use Vizrt’s full suite of live productions tools.

The Vietnam Cable Television Corporation (VTVcab) announced today that they are officially beginning operation of advanced production systems featuring Vizrt’s complete media solutions. Vizrt is the world leader in advanced real-time 3D graphics, automation, sports analysis, & asset management for the digital media industry.

The solutions provided by Vizrt to VTVcab are software-based and manage all production workflows for pre-production, post-production, editing, approval and final distribution. The worfkflows shorten production processes, saving time and human resources.

The solutions from Vizrt include: Media asset management (MAM), newsroom systems, design and control of 3D graphics, and studio automation. The technology being implemented represents the most advanced systems used by major broadcasters and media companies around the world.

Advanced studio productions

A key feature of this system is a virtual set with augmented reality (AR) capabilities, and a physical studio with AR. Both studios will be controlled using the Viz Opus compact control room, which features automation, graphics, and video controls all in a single system. This new approach to studio production future-proofs VTVcab’s news broadcasting capabilities, allowing them to be able to bring information to their audience faster and with stunning visuals to make any story easy to understand.

VTVcab will gradually apply this technology to sports news and analysis shows on TV Channel, Football TV, and Sports News HD. Entertainment, cultural programs, and other programs will also benefit from the production solutions.

The solutions VTVcab are putting in place also take into consideration the strength of social media in the Vietnam market, the growth online video services, the rapid increase of the number of mobile devices, and the trend of using online video services over internet-connected devices. Teaching the next generation of media professionals

Vizrt signs USD 406k broadcast graphics deal with European broadcaster

Vizrt Ltd. announced today a deal worth USD 406,000 for services and BG software licenses with a European broadcaster. The system is to be used for news productions, particularly for large broadcast events. The products are further extensions to their existing setup and will largely be supplemental for particular events.

The broadcaster has been a customer for many years, and has chosen Vizrt due to a successful long-time relationship, a trust in Vizrt´s products and the reliable service and support.

First broadcaster in Latin America signs deal for multiple Viz Mosart control rooms

Vizrt Ltd. announced today a deal worth USD 960,000 for the implementation of the Viz Mosart control room automation systems with a broadcaster in Latin America. This is the first broadcaster in Latin America to adopt Viz Mosart for control room automation. The customer chose Viz Mosart after a thorough evaluation process and seeing the successful implementations at other Viz Mosart customer sites around the world.

The broadcaster has been a Vizrt customer for many years with a full range of broadcast graphics and media asset management systems. The inclusion of the Viz Mosart installation creates a complete Vizrt infrastructure used by the broadcaster for their daily production workflow.

Viz Mosart is a control room automation system that works with all major broadcast systems in the control room and studio. The customer purchased Viz Mosart to manage multiple control rooms, essentially allowing Viz Mosart to produce all their live shows. The system gives the broadcaster greater flexibility, speed of response, and cost-effectiveness in live broadcasts.

Vizrt signs USD 330k broadcast graphics deal in Oceania

Vizrt Ltd. announced today a deal worth USD 330,000 for the implementation of broadcast graphics products with a production company in Oceania. The customer provides sports production services for broadcasters in several countries.

The deal includes several Viz Trios, Vizrt’s character generator (CG). Viz Trio will be used for live sports productions as a tool for controlling playlists of graphics. The Viz Trio operator monitors the playlist, creates new playlist items based upon templates, and triggers the playlist items live to air.

Graphics are triggered from Viz Trio and rendered in real-time with Viz Engine, Vizrt’s powerful real-time compositing engine. Vizrt’s reputation in the region for providing the best live production platform provider was the key reason behind the customer’s selection of Viz Engine and related products.
